New call for CETEM fifteenth edition of the international competition for industrial design of furniture. Until 12 February. Technology Center Furniture and Wood (CETEM) has announced the fifteenth edition of the international design competition in the furniture industry until 12 February.
The goal is to promote closer links between designers and companies in the Region of Murcia, promote respect for the environment and demonstrate the importance of design in the furniture industry and in the process of innovation and its contribution to industrial success.
The theme of this contest is the furniture and housing. The category
students can submit projects in two categories:
- Eco-design in the furniture: furniture design, considering the environment, either in terms of materials, manufacturing processes, product recycling, use of the product etc.
- Innovation in the furniture: furniture design innovations to provide any type: new conceptual proposals, formal appearance, materials, manufacturing, consumption patterns, etc.
no limit to the number of projects submitted. The presentation format is free.
Awards:
- Ecodesign Prize: 600 € and a certificate.
- Innovation Prize: 600 € and diploma credit.
